Peabody Essex Museum

Working with world-renowned architect, Moshe Safdie, the Peabody Essex was a collaboration between two architects to find a harmonious retail space that would complement the aesthetic of this historic museum in Salem, Massachusetts.

Adjacent to the Main Atrium, a North and South shop were designed to flow in and out of indoor street created by Moshe Safdie to unify the disparate group of buildings.

TelFair Savannah, GA

After working with Moshe Safdie on the Peabody Essex Museum, Visbeen was brought back in to design the gift shop at the Jepson Center for the Arts at the Telfair Museum of Arts.

Because of Wayne’s keen ability to create transform small spaces to efficient retail hubs, the gift shop was yet another success, beautifully complimenting the architecture in this modern Savannah, Georgia museum.

Same architect – brought us in to follow his work because he loved the Peabody so much. Able on a more intimate scale to do a beautiful museum shop to compliment the architecture
